Reference tools
Under the More menu beside the transcript are two reference tools that open in a panel without leaving the report.
Protocol lookup
A searchable library of imaging protocols: phases, contrast timing, coverage and reconstruction for CT, sequences and planes for MRI, and the standard protocol for common fluoroscopic and nuclear medicine studies. Ask in plain language ("how do I protocol a CT venogram of the pelvis", "MR enterography sequences") and the matching protocol is shown. The library is maintained with the application and updated with releases.
Appropriateness lookup
A search over the ACR Appropriateness Criteria: describe the clinical scenario and the panel shows which examinations are usually appropriate, may be appropriate, or are usually not appropriate, with the relative radiation level. Useful when a referrer asks which study to order, or when a requested study is not the right one for the question.
SIR procedure templates
The interventional template library follows the Society of Interventional Radiology's structured reporting elements for common procedures. Load one by voice ("load SIR template nephrostomy") or from the Templates panel. Procedure details, devices, specimens, complications and post-procedure instructions each have their own line, and the same live fill applies.
Macros
Macros are short phrases that expand into longer standard text. Define them under Macros; say or type the phrase and the expansion is inserted. Typical uses are a group's standard limitation sentence, a normal-chest paragraph, or a post-procedure instruction block.
Dictation corrections
Under Commands you can define word corrections that are applied to the transcript before placement: a drug name the transcriber mishears, a colleague's name, a local abbreviation. Corrections are per account.
